Club Ticket Allocations - Important Information

Scottish Rugby is giving supporters the chance to purchase tickets for next year’s eagerly-anticipated clash with the Auld Enemy and the visit of France to Murrayfield. The dates and kick-off times for each of the home fixtures are:
Scotland v France, Sunday 7 February, Murrayfield, kick-off 3pm

Scotland v England, Saturday 13 March, Murrayfield, kick-off 5pm

Scottish Rugby would like to inform all member and associate member clubs that their allocation of tickets for these games has been ring fenced and will be unaffected by this public sale. Each club’s allocation has already been determined through the aggregate ticket numbrs purchased for the games v Wales and Ireland this season.

You will be contacted at the start of the 2009/10 season about your club’s allocation but if you have any initial questions about these arrangements, please contact Colin Douglas at our ticket centre on colin.douglas@sru.org.uk.

The public sale for approximately 15,000 tickets for each match will be conducted online only at www.scottishrugby.org from 12 noon on Wednesday 8 April 2009.
For the fifth consecutive year, Scottish Rugby's lowest priced adult Six Nations ticket is frozen at £30 with the lowest priced children's ticket at £15. A £15 ticket to the French game is also available to students. There is a slight increase in mid range and top price tickets to £50 and £70 for adults with concessions at £25 and £35. The concession price is also available to students for the French match. This will be our first ticket price increase for this tournament for four years and we have carefully considered this decision. All ticket monies that we generate as an organisation are re-invested in the game in Scotland ensuring we can grow it at all levels throughout the country, especially at a time when more young people are playing our sport. That’s why, at the same time as we announce a small increase for some of our Six Nations ticket prices, we give our supporters a commitment that we will reduce the ticket prices for Scotland’s 2009 Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests compared to Autumn Test prices last year. Details of these Autumn Test opponents, match dates and ticket prices will be announced in due course. We look forward to your continued support of the game in Scotland.
